There's no sense in
charging after the right words
when they bubble up,
misformed
and garbled in
inappropriate combinations
of intentions.

In those moments
when you'd rather be
nowhere else
or anywhere else,
and it seems like the right thing
would be to
revive the dead air with
your unsteady, unready words,
remember this ...
